what is DTG?
Direct to garment printing is just that - we print directly onto
your garment, just like your inkjet printer at home prints
documents and photos. It uses a CYMK process along with white ink.
DTG has many benefits over traditional garment printing methods,
such as screen-printing and vinyl transfers. We can print:
- Full rich and vibrant colour
- Photographic images
- Up to A2 size
- A range of garments and items
- Cotton and cotton/poly blends
- Light and dark fabrics
Beyond its printing capabilities, DTG also boasts a range of
other benefits. Unlike screen-printing there are little set-up
costs, making one-offs and short runs a possibility. This increased
flexibility also means we can drag-and-drop your artwork straight
into our computer and onto your t-shirt. We have a fast turn-around
time and DTG prints are also very durable if properly cared
for.
An environmental consciousness is becoming increasingly
important, so it's important to note that DTG printing is almost
100% eco-friendly, using non-solvent, water-based inks that are
kind to the environment and producing virtually no waste.
